Clock transport synchronization and the dragging of inertial frames for elliptical orbits

It is shown that it is possible to test for the dragging of inertial frames in Einstein's theory of general relativity by using the discrepancy between clocks synchronized by clock transport in elliptical orbits. Possible experiments are discussed.
