Productions of mesons at 162/sup 0/ in C, Cu, and Pb in the inclusive reactions. pi. /sup -/A. --> pi. /sup + -/X, pA. --> pi. /sup +/X, and. pi. /sup -/A. -->. K/sup +/X

Data are presented on the energy spectra of mesons emitted from the nuclei C, Cu, and Pb at an angle 162/sup 0/ lab in the inclusive reactions ..pi../sup -/A..--> pi../sup + -/X, pA..--> pi../sup +/X, and ..pi../sup -/A..-->..K/sup +/X at incident-pion momenta 1.5--5 GeV/c and incident-proton momenta 2.2, 6, and 8.5 GeV/c. The meson yields are given as a function of the mass number of the target nucleus and the momentum of the incident particle.
