Extended-burnup calculations for operating-reactor reload reviews. [PWR; BWR]

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:6439052
The core inventories of radionuclides presently used in evaluations of hypothetical reactor accidents are based on calculations intended to be conservative for common fuel enrichments and discharge exposures of about 25,000 megawatt-days per metric ton of uranium (MWd/tU). The objective of this work has been to provide a set of radionuclide inventories that bounds the inventories expected (without anticipated variations in fuel management) for various enrichments, reactor types, and burnup.
