Ultraviolet spectral atlas of interstellar lines toward SN 1987A
Journal Article

· Astrophys. J.; (United States)
An UV spectral atlas of the interstellar spectrum toward SN 1987A in the LMC is presented, based on data obtained with the IUE satellite. The atlas extends from 1250 to 3200 A and includes 200 lines from 12 interstellar species. The results are interpreted in the context of existing optical and UV studies of interstellar gas toward the LMC. 40 references.
