Drying gas pipelines. Part 2. Techniques for drying pipelines by the three-spheres method

An alternative to the two-sphere method for drying gas pipelines is the three-sphere technique, which involves passing two slugs of methanol or glycol through the line between three pigs or spheres. Optimization studies show that the three-sphere approach uses less methanol than the two-sphere approach technique while more effectively drying the pipe.
