Ultraviolet stellar observations

Progress achieved in ultraviolet stellar observations using Copernicus high-resolution telescope-spectrograph system, mainly in the field of photometric abundances, line lists, and line profile studies; stellar chromosphere and coronae; and extended atmospheres, mass loss, and binary stars is reported. Work at Laboratoire d'Astronomie Spatiale (Marseilles) on ultraviolet stellar observations, ultraviolet stellar spectrophotometer observations onboard TD-1A satellite, ultraviolet photometry television data from the OAO as well as observations from manned spacecraft are briefly summarized.
