Petrochemical Expo '93 to tackle safety, environment and more
AIChE's 1993 Spring National Meeting is coming up in Houston at the end of this month. This event promises to take on many of the topics that plant and operating management need to think about these days, among them safety, the environment and environmental regulations. For the meeting's theme, [open quotes]Process Plants for the '90s: Reliable, Safe and Clean,[close quotes] the Institute has lined up two keynote speakers, several plant tours and a full schedule of topical sessions, with more than 500 presentations. This year's keynote addresses will focus on [open quotes]Investment in the Fuels and Petrochemical Industries - Here and Abroad.[close quotes] Dr. E. Gary Cook is senior vice president of Ethyl Corp. and president of the Chemicals Group, and Frank Y.S. Chen is chairman of Chinese Petroleum Corp. in Taipei, Taiwan.
