Metallographic grinding efficiency
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:6414911
The efficiency of material removal from metallographic mounts is reported. Grinding papers, lubrication rate, lubricant's speed, and hold-down weight are compared and evaluated. Data are presented that indicate that the application of several principles can lead to significantly increased grinding rate efficiency.
