Long-range potential between nucleons

Based on the hybrid chiral bag model, the potential between two separate nucleons (without overlap) is calculated. It is shown that the central and tensor potentials obtained are compatible with phenomenological potentials such as the Hamada-Johnston potential and the Reid potential. The question whether the bag radius for a free nucleon is different from that of a nucleon inside the nucleus is also discussed.
