An 81-channel hyperspherical close-coupling calculation has led to a photodetachment spectrum of H[sup [minus]] in excellent agreement with experiments at energies up to threshold for the production of H([ital n]=7), including all the observed resonance structures. Positions of Wannier ridge resonances not only for H[sup [minus]] but also for He and Li[sup +] are fitted to a double-Rydberg formula, and the screening parameter in it is found to be remarkably independent of the nuclear charge.
