Versatile, inexpensive potentiostat for corrosion studies

An inexpensive, versatile potentiostat for corrosion studies has been designed and tested. The instrument can be used for potentiostatic and potentiodynamic studies as well as for galvanic current measurements. It contains IR-drop compensation. Provisions for corrosion rate measurements using the linear polarization and the three-potential-step methods are made.
