I consider a supersymmetric extension of Witten's nonlinear sigma model in two dimensions with Wess-Zumino term, constructed on a group manifold. The model is constructed using the invariant basis of vector fields on the group manifold, which enables us to understand the behavior of the fermion fields at the critical point and the relationships implied by supersymmetry.
