Lubricant compositions containing dispersant additives

Lubricant compositions for internal combustion engines are provided containing dispersant additives which prevent sludge and varnish formation in the crankcase. The additives are oil-soluble poly(Oxyalkylene) aminocarbamates comprising a hydrocarbylterminated poly(Oxyalkylene) chain of 2-5 carbon oxyalkylene units.
