A model of creep in {l_angle}001{r_angle} oriented nickel-base superalloy single crystals applicable both for low and high temperatures has been developed. This model extends the preceding model of the present authors covering only the case of low temperature creep. The present model takes into account five mechanisms, namely (1) dislocation slip in {gamma} channels and concurrent multiplication of dislocations, (2) dislocation slip in {gamma}{prime} particles, (3) dynamic recovery of the dislocation structure, (4) morphological changes of {gamma}{prime} particles by migration of {gamma}/{gamma}{prime} interfaces and (5) coarsening of the rafted structure. The calculated creep curves were compared with the creep curves measured on single crystals CMSX-4 at 750 C and 1,000 C; a good agreement was found.
