An intensive short-term study of atmospheric lead deposition to a high-elevation spruce forest

Conference ·
OSTI ID:6379201
The results of an intensive one-month study of all atmospheric lead deposition processes to a high-elevation red spruce (Picea rubens) forest in the southern Appalachian Mountains are reported. Wet deposition of Pb made up 46% of the total 390 ..mu..g/m/sup 2//month influx to the forest canopy. Dry deposition contributed 49% and cloud water contributed 4% of the total. (ACR)
