Three-phase pipeline program gives BHP in rod-pump wells

Journal Article · · Oil Gas J.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6377952

An HP-41C, three-phase program originally developed for pipeline flow, has been modified to calculate the annular pressure gradients in rod-pumped wells. The estimation of bottom-hole pressures BHP from measurements of annular liquid levels and gas and gas/liquid gradients in rod-pumped wells has been widely researched.
