Each of 91 solar home designs are discussed and some of the key points raised in the discussion of passive solar concepts are indicated in these descriptions and on the illustrations. Additional detail on issues of climate requirements and site design concerns, examples of building construction details showing good practice, and suggestions on how to market solar homes are included. The appendices address more technical aspects of the design and evaluation of passive solar homes, and provide information on other resources available to those involved in passive solar housing.
