JANAF thermochemical tables. [Temperature dependence]

The JANAF thermochemical tables are compilations of the thermodynamic properties of substances over a wide temperature range, with single phase tables for the crystal, liquid, and ideal gas state. The properties given are heat capacity, entropy, Gibbs energy function, enthalpy, enthalpy of formation, Gibbs energy of formation, and the logarithm of the equilibrium constant for formation of each compound from the elements in their standard reference states. The data presented in these publications are based on a careful evaluation of all results reported in the literature. The data have been compiled and calculated by the Dow Chemical Co., Thermal Laboratory, Midland, Michigan 148640. They are available from the American Chemical Society as follows: 2nd Edition (1971); 1974 supplement; 1975 supplement; 1978 supplement. Recipients approved by AFOSR or DOE contract monitor receive quarterly supplements in loose leaf form. The information is also available on magnetic tape. (LTN)
