The RETRAN-01 computer code, developd by EPRI through its contractor, Energy Incorporated (EI), is now being widely used by the international nuclear community for various types of safety analysis. In order to exchange information concerning the current use of the code by the various organizations, EPRI and EI tointly sponsored an International RETRAN Meeting in Seattle, Washington, on September 22-24, 1980. During the three-day meeting, 30 technical papers were presented by the various participants. The papers can be generally classified as: RETRAN-02 development and verification; RETRAN-01 analysis of PWR's; RETRAN-01 analysis of BWR's; and RETRAN analysis of other systems. Separate abstracts are included for each of the papers presented.
