The Raman, resonant Raman, and infrared spectra of thin sublimed solid films of 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic 3,4:9,10-dianhydride have been recorded. Films of 200-nm thickness evaporated onto quartz and potassium bromide substrates were studied by vibrational techniques, and film organization is discussed on the basis of information provided by infrared and polarized Raman spectra. Surface-enhanced Raman spectra were obtained of 25-nm perylene films evaporated onto silver and indium metal-island films.
