A link has been developed that can transmit analog data over a 220 meter fiber optic cable. This is suitable for general diagnostic work. The transmittig end will accept /plus or minus/volt signals on a 50 ohm line and present them to a 50 ohm load at the receiving end of the link. D.C. characteristics of the signal are preserved by an auto-zero loop and the high frequency cut off is 16 MHz. The overall signal to noise ratio is 59dB and the total harmonic distortion is 0.36%.
