UBV photometry in the dwarf irregular galaxy NGC 6822
We present photoelectric UBV photometry for a sequence of 63 stars with 9.7 =0.42 +- 0.05, resulting in a true distance modulus (m-M)/sub 0/=23.0 and a distance Rapprox. =400 kpc. A comparison with Kayser's photographic photometry is given in an appendix.
