HETRAP is a heat transfer analysis program developed for use in the evaluation of LOCA experiments. Its major application is calculation of heat flux and heat transfer coefficients at the surface of an electrically-heated rod during a fast transient, using measured temperatures in the rod. In addition, the code can be used to calculate the steady-state and transient temperature fields in fuel rods and electrically-heated rods for given heat transfer coefficients.IBM360/75,360/91; FORTRAN IV; OS/360; Approximately 260K bytes storage, a tape unit, card reader, and printer are required.
