Since 1945, The Chase Manhattan Bank has conducted a detailed study of the financial performance of a large number of petroleum companies. The financial performance of the companies provides a valuable basis for determining the probable experience of the over-all industry. This report covers operations (source of crude oil and crude runs to stills); income statement (revenue, charges against revenue, net income, rate of return); source and use of funds (sources, uses); balance sheet (working capital, capital employed); and statistical tables (historical data and current data).
