A description is given of the design and the parameters of a pulsed high-current electron accelerator. The accelerator can be operated in the microsecond and nanosecond pulse length ranges. In the nanosecond range, the accelerator generates a 0.8-MeV beam with a current of 240 kA and a pulse duration of 80 nsec. In the microsecond range, the corresponding parameters are 0.5 MeV, 10 kA, and 1 sec. The design of the accelerator makes it possible to generate bunches with a length of up to 1 sec.
