An analytical drillstem test (DST) simulator has been developed that can be used to verify the interpretation of DST's that have insufficient or poor-quality flow-rate data. The DST is modeled as a sequence of alternating pressure-specified buildup periods. With field data, it is shown that this simulator can be used to enhance the interpretation of nonsurface flowing DST's.
