New results on hadron production from PETRA

In this report new results on hadron production in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilations at PETRA will be presented, obtained since last year's conferences at Brighton/sup(/sup 1/) and Cornell/sup(/sup 2/). I will discuss the inclusive production of particles and resonances, the fragmentation function of heavy quarks, problems in the determination of the strong coupling constant and, finally, tests of fragmentation models.
