Gaseous effluents due to EHV transmission line corona

Journal Article · · IEEE Trans. Power Appar. Syst.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6335722
The generation of gaseous effluents as a result of corona activity on EHV transmission lines has been raised as an environmental issue. This paper discussed analytical, laboratory and field measurement work performed by and for the American Electric Power Service Corporation that clearly shows that no environmental problem exists. A companion paper discussed the field measurement program in greater detail.
