Development report for contact-handled waste container and handling system

This report describes the development of a container system for contact-handled radioactive waste. One waste package is a six-pack of commonly used 55-gallon drums. The other container is a rectangular metal box sized to just accomodate six 55-gallon drums. Both packages are equipped with lifting brackets so that the packages can be conveniently manipulated with a specially-designed lifting adaptor placed on a standard forklift. 16 figures, 3 tables.
