Coulomb-nuclear interference corrections to measurements of the pp total-cross-section difference in pure spin states

It is pointed out that corrections due to the Coulomb-nuclear interference could amount to an order of 1--2 mb at P/sub lab/ around 1 GeV/c in recently performed measurements of the pp total-cross-section difference in pure spin states.
