Quantum-electrodynamics processes with transverse-polarized e/sup + -/e/sup -/ beams

The radiative corrections to the cross sections for the reactions e/sup +/e/sup -/..--> gamma gamma.., ..mu../sup +/..mu../sup -/; e/sup +/e/sup -/..-->..e/sup +/e/sup -/; and e/sup -/e/sup -/..-->..e/sup -/e/sup -/ are found in the ..cap alpha../sup 3/ order of perturbation theory for the case of transverse-polarized initial leptons. The expressions found for these corrections incorporate the emission of virtual and soft photons. The differential cross sections for these reactions accompanied by the emission of an additional hard photon are also found. The radiative corrections are compared with the contribution which arises from the interference of electromagnetic and weak currents.
