BRST invariance and chiral gauge theories

Journal Article · · Ann. Phys. (N.Y.); (United States)
We use BRST invariance as a guiding principle in the consistent quantization of gauge theories with Weyl fermions. As in other approaches, the group of gauge transformations is given a dynamical role through a Wess-Zumino action; the choice of the corresponding (quantum) measure determines the number of physical degrees of freedom that it actually represents. copyright 1989 Academic Press, Inc.
