We have measured the production cross sections for 59 target fragments from the interaction of 13.3 GeV/nucleon {sup 28}Si with {sup 197}Au. We have deduced fragment mass-yield distributions from these data. The cross sections are consistent with limiting fragmentation (within {plus minus}20%). The electromagnetic dissociation cross section for the one-neutron removal process is in agreement with expectations although a large two-neutron removal cross section was observed.
