A different type of I-V characteristic has been observed in blob-type Josephson junctions made between a blob of tin and a niobium wire. In addition to the usual zero-voltage region, a low-differential-resistance region just above the zero-voltage critical current has been observed for the first time in this configuration. This region is found to behave like a voltage-dependent pair current and is explained in terms of the stimulation of supercurrents in the weak link, consistent with the Aslamazov-Larkin model.
