Study of pore space in thin sections of terrigenous and carbonate rocks of the Perm area of the Kama River
Journal Article

Estimates are made of the pore and pore-channel parameters and tortuosity coefficients for carbonate and terrigenous reservoirs from the Perm region by means of direct statistical studies on thin sections and data from indirect methods (capillary and electrical measurement). The results from the various methods are compared, particularly as regards the correlation of the structural parameters with the permeability. The probable values of the structural parameters are identified for various permeability classes.
