This pulp and paper sensor program undertakes long-term, high-risk applied development activities to develop sensors for improving the efficiency of energy conversion and utilization systems. This document includes summaries, working group comments, and presentation aids (viewgraphs) for the following sensors: in-situ combustion controller, consistency meter, lignin mass spectrometer, acoustic steam flow meter, on-machine sensors to measure paper mechanical properties, and monitor for electrokinetics and flocculation of paper furnish (colloidal slurries).
