Coexistence in Ge isotopes and two-neutron transfer

Journal Article · · Phys. Rev. C; (United States)
Generalized two-state model wave functions are used to fit the cross section ratio sigma(0/sub 2//sup +/)/sigma(g.s.) for two-nucleon transfer reactions, in particular, /sup 70,72,74/Ge(t,p) and /sup 72,74,76/Ge(p,t). We fit these ratios with just one parameter which is restricted to lie within a narrow range. We also are able to calculate the ground state and 0/sub 2//sup +/ state wave functions for /sup 68/Ge and /sup 78/Ge.
