Report on the IAEA coordinated research program on the measurement and evaluation of transactinium isotope nuclear decay data

Conference ·
OSTI ID:6282724
As one result of the First IAEA Advisory Group Meeting on Transactinium Isotope Nuclear Data, held in November 1975 at Karlsruhe, an IAEA Coordinated Research Program was set up to address certain identified actinide-isotope decay-data needs in reactor technology. At present, laboratories from five nations are involved in this effort. This paper gives an overview of this program, including its origin and the present status of the measurements being carried out. The current status of the actinide-nuclide half-life, spontaneous-fission branching ratio, {alpha}-intensity and {gamma}-intensity data of concern to the Coordinated Research Program is presented and briefly discussed. 3 figures, 9 tables.
