Particle spectrum in gluon jets produced in [ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]] annihilations at [radical][ital s] around 58 GeV

Inclusive momentum spectra of charged particles in three-fold symmetric three-jet ([ital qqg]) and two-jet +[gamma]([ital qq][gamma]) events taken from [ital e][sup +][ital e[minus]] annihilation at center-of-mass energy of 58 GeV were compared. The spectrum of gluon jets was found to be significantly softer than that of quark jets with the same energy and topology.
