Pseudopotential approach to low-energy (0--3 eV) elastic electron-argon scattering

A pseudopotential approach is used to calculate phase shifts, differential, total, and momentum-transfer cross sections for the elastic scattering of electrons by argon atoms in the low-energy region 0--3 eV. The results are found to be in satisfactory agreement with the existing experimental and theoretical data.
