Fundamental mode of nonradial, nonadiabatic stellar oscillation

The high-l, nonradial, nonadiabatic oscillation of a star at the fundamental-mode frequency is considered. The f-mode of 5-min oscillation on the sun can be excited only through interaction with turbulent convection.
