Advanced fuel-cell concepts for the 0. 1- to 100-MW range

Three system concepts for molten carbonate fuel cell power plants utilizing natural gas are discussed. One system uses a high temperature reformer, another uses a packed bed reformer process, and the third and most advanced system design is based on an internally reforming molten carbonate fuel cell. Efficiency estimates are given for the systems. (WHK)
