RCC: profit from reduced crude

Conference · · Proc., Am. Pet. Inst., Refin. Dep.; (United States)
OSTI ID:6268043
The RCC process directly converts residual feedstocks into transportation fuels and other lighter products. The process is increasingly important in an environment where the demand for heavy fuel oils is decreasing and gasoline commitments are to be maintained. This paper examines the economics of applying RCC process technology to several refining cases.
