Rapid estimation of stabilized flow behavior of gas wells from short term isochronal test data

A method is proposed for rapidly estimating the stabilized deliverability behavior of a gas well from isochronal test data. The method is potentially more accurate than other calculation procedures since it relies primarily on the test data to determine the stabilized performance behavior. It does not depend on calculation of skin factor or non-Darcy flow constant and minimizes the use of other well and reservoir parameters to predict the stabilized flow behavior.
