Dosage of particles for a bubble chamber in the microsecond range of beam extraction times

This paper describes a system for the dosage of particles for the bubble chamber Mirabelle, using a bending magnet, for a beam extraction time of up to 5.2 sec. Relations that are established permit the optimal choice of the main parameters and relative positions of the elements of the system. An estimate is made of the increase in the photographing efficiency in the bubble chamber and it is in good agreement with the experimental value obtained in a pp experiment (1.32 times).
