New York State energy consumption and supply statistics, 1960--1976

Data are presented on New York energy consumption and supply necessary to analyze present and future resource use and supply within the state. The report presents a summary of total consumption of primary resources in New York by fuel type for the period 1960 through 1976; the total direct consumption of each fuel by sector and final end use for 1975 and 1976; the sources of energy consumed in New York including production of primary resources within the state and the origin of petroleum and natural gas delivered into the state; and a preliminary estimate of 1977 primary energy consumption by fuel type and corresponding 1975 and 1976 data. Additional information and data are presented in 8 appendices. Extensive tables and graphs on petroleum, natural gas, coal, hydro, and nuclear power required for producing heat and power are included.
