Rate constants k = (2.3 {plus minus} 0.3) {times} 10{sup {minus}11} exp(({minus}1,527 {plus minus} 36) K/T) cm{sup 3} s{sup {minus}1} for the reaction O({sup 3}P) + C{sub 2}H{sub 2} were determined by the H{sub 2} laser chemiluminescence method in the temperature range 200-284 K. Together with high-temperature data up to 2,500 K, these measurements provide a base for comparison with recent and future ab initio calculations.
