I report on a study of quenched QCD using staggered fermions being done with Rajan Gupta and Greg Kilcup. We calculate the I = 2 pion scattering length at $$β$$ = 5.7 and 6, and find agreement with predictions from the chiral Lagrangian. I mention highlights of our spectrum calculation, including preliminary results at $$β$$ = 6.4.
