The results obtained on the diffuse component of cosmic radiation between 0.3 and 6 MeV, from two ..gamma..-ray telescope balloon observations in two regions - near the Galactic center, and near the anticenter - are presented. The spectra obtained are deduced from fluxes measured by the detector, calculating the background induced by various atmospheric components, such as photons, neutrons, and protons, at two flight latitudes (44/sup 0/30' N and 22/sup 0/48' S). Although the accuracy of the results does not permit a final conclusion, the comparison of spectra obtained under very different background conditions for the two regions observed gives evidence for the isotropy of the diffuse component.
