Several aspects of the Dual Topological Unitarization approach to hadron physics are studied. In this dynamical scheme, the sum of all planar diagrams in the unitarity sum generates the Reggeon. The next important diagrams have the topology of a cylinder and their effect is to renormalize the Reggeons which have the vacuum quantum numbers. The conjecture that the renormalized f-trajectory in the Pomeron is investigated in a model with SU(3) symmetry breaking. Regge intercepts and mixing angles are calculated. The meson-nucleon total cross-mixing angles are calculated. The meson-nucleon total cross-sections are numerically calculated in this model for p/sub Lab/ from 10 GeV/c to 50 GeV/c. The ratio of Kaon to pion charged multiplicities is also calculated. All these are found to be in reasonable agreement with the experimental data. The problem of bootstrapping the Reggeon and calculating the Pomeron is studied further in a t-dependent formulation with exact SU(N) symmetry. The formulation has taken into account the t-min effect, which arises in a multiperipheral production of particles, and no double counting condition for the intermediate clusters in planar and cylinder diagrams. A new no double counting condition is proposed for the cylinder diagrams. Integral equations are derived, and then solved for both the planar and the cylinder cases. The solutions obtained for triple-Reggeon coupling, Pomeron intercept and slope at t = 0, are in good agreement with the experimental values. The property of asymptotic planarity for the Pomeron trajectory is demonstrated.
